About Me
Marie Pier Bouchard graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor's Degree in Second Language Teaching and a minor in Administration for the Arts. She was co-artistic director and helped run and teach classes for a community K-Pop dance troupe called Kapital K-Dance from 2013 to 2017. She is currently working towards completing a Social Media certificate at Algonquin College. Marie Pier is very passionate about all things social media and is eager to learn more. She also has a strong love for sports, and how it has the power to bring people together. She would love to one day be able to marry those two interests. She believes sports, and especially dance, share a universal language, and that everyone has something special to contribute to the conversation. With Culture Shock Canada, she hopes to be able to showcase and amplify all of the unique voices the dance community has to offer, and with their help, spread the love of dance even more.
